Asnaf Education Fund

The "Asnaf Education Fund" program is inspired by the continuity of learning for less privileged students.

Education is crucial for children to ensure a future and gain knowledge for their lives ahead. Providing comprehensive education is vital for children to achieve satisfactory results and uplift their family's living standards. The transitional phase brought about by COVID-19 has introduced new norms in society, including for school-going children.

For the Al-Firdausi Welfare Organization, they do not want any children to lag behind in their studies and lack enthusiasm to start a new school session due to poverty and lack of resources. Poverty should not hinder anyone from achieving success. The goals is to inspire less privileged children to be motivated in pursuing their education and achieving outstanding results to become successful individuals.

OBJECTIVES

1. Alleviate the burden on less privileged children in starting a new school semester, enabling them to learn calmly and smoothly.

2. Resolve the issue of school fee payments and purchase of school books for the new semester.

3. Prepare and empower less privileged children for the new semester more effectively.

4. Motivate and inspire orphaned and needy children to be more enthusiastic about school.

5. Instill the spirit of hard work and encourage diligent learning to achieve results that make themselves, their families, and their schools proud.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, PKAF has been helping families in nearby communities due to increased requests for assistance resulting from economic, income, educational, and other challenges.

NEEDED ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT

SCHOOL UNIFORMS
School uniforms are worn by every student within the school premises. The cost of school uniforms has been increasing yearly. School uniforms typically include shirts, pants or skirts, school headscarves, shoes, and socks. Students' uniforms might vary based on their position or grade level. While there's some flexibility in uniforms nowadays, wearing a complete uniform helps students feel more enthusiastic about attending school.

NOTEBOOKS
Notebooks are essential purchases before the start of the school session.

EXTRACURRICULAR UNIFORMS
Students in Level 2 (Grades 4-6 and Forms 3-5) are required to participate in extracurricular activities. Extracurricular uniforms vary based on the specific activity.

SCHOOL FEES
School contribution fees are determined by the school's Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG). Delayed fee payments often lead to warnings, affecting a student's self-esteem due to repeated reminders from class teachers and potentially creating a sense of inferiority among peers.

TRANSPORTATION FEES
Due to the uncertain school session, school bus and van services have increased their fees. This poses a burden for parents/guardians with multiple school-going children who require transportation services.

Therefore, PKAF invites all generous members of the community to extend their support and assistance through this campaign, ensuring that it offers opportunities for less privileged children in our generation to experience the benefits of education in their lives.

Your contributions today might change their future for the brighter and more meaningful.
